We all belong in the Kingdom
Kia ora St Toms whanau,
It was great to have Murray Edridge from the Wellington City Mission with us on Sunday. He gave a good reminder of the importance of belonging. I think this is part of our missional calling in our neighborhood - to create community/spaces where everyone is welcome. I know at times we all struggle to believe that we belong. Those thoughts go through my head as well. But we are all sons and daughters of a very good Father. As my beautiful wife, Kirsty, says often "there are no orphans in the kingdom of God." God adopts us all!
Belonging will be the theme of our church camp this year. If you have not signed up there is still time. Last years' camp was such a fun time of connecting with each other. I hope you can make it.
Keep your eyes on Jesus,
Mark
